Quick and Easy Cheesecake

Since I love desserts so much, I thought I would tackle that first in my a Dollar Tree experience.  The recipe:
1 Ready Made Graham  cracker crust
1 6 ounce tub of cream cheese
1 1/2 half pint of whipping cream
1/4 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Place the cream cheese in a mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer on low speed until the cream cheese is softened.  Add the whipping cream slowly, the sugar and the vanilla and mix on low to medium speed until light and fluffy. Stop and scrape the bowl with a rubber scraper.

Place the cream cheese/whipping cream mixture into the ready made graham cracker crust; spread evenly.

Place on the refrigerator and chill for at least 6 hours.

As you can see, all of the main items needed for this dessert were purchased at my local Dollar Tree.  I didn't buy sugar as I already had that. I didn't buy vanilla extract as I like the pure stuff and not the imitation vanilla flavoring that they have in the store, that's just my personal preference, but it is available in the grocery section.

I added the frozen strawberries to make a sauce once the cheesecake was chilled. Total cost, $4.80. Not too bad, I'd say!!
